I was born in beautiful Kent which is where I first discovered my interest in home textiles . As a teenager I spent every spare minute working in my local interior design shop making, stitching & fitting bespoke curtains & blinds whilst admiring the designer silks and studying the pattern repeats. I was born in beautiful Kent which is where I first discovered my interest in home textiles . As a teenager I spent every spare minute working in my local interior design shop making, stitching & fitting bespoke curtains & blinds whilst admiring the designer silks and studying the pattern repeats. I later completed my foundation at KIAD in Canterbury, swiftly moved to Winchester school of Art where I got my degree in textiles , and shortly after my degree show I packed my bags and moved up to Manchester for my first job as a Junior designer. After 4 years at Gulahmed Mills and 18months at Coelima Portugal I switched from manufacturer to retailer and worked for Debenhams for 9 years where I grew into a Senior designer role. There I managed a small team of designers and worked very closely with all the "celebrity" designers designing & building their ranges across all of the homewares categories ; Bed, bath, cook, dec accs, rugs, lighting & dining. Since Dec 2015 I have been freelancing for Yunus Mills looking after design developments for Uk and international accounts.
